July 24, 2008

Today we went into the park I love how pretty it is. We did a 1 mile hike to a Bristlecomb Pine. At first we were thinking of doing one of the 3 mile hikes but after the 1 mile I am glad we did not. I have not gotten back into shape after having a baby. Now I know I need to work on it. I had a great time at Bryce and spending time with my family.

Kings Creek Campground

I love Camping. On Tuesday July 22 we headed to Kings Creek Campground (by Tropic Reseviour and Bryce Canyon) for our annual family campout this year it was my dads turn to be in charge. This was Jacksons first camping trip. We missed you Matt and wish you could have come with us. Jackson and I stayed in a tent all by ourselves. We were gone for 5 days and 5 night. Jackson did a great job for being away from home for so long.

THANKS DAD AND MOM FOR LETTING US COME WITH YOU. WE LOVE YOU.

Nap Time

Jackson has a tuff time sleeping he does not like to take naps or go to bed. He likes to scream and fight sleep. So today he was very tired and fussy I finally just put him in the bouncer handed him a stuffed horse and started bouncing within a few minutes he was asleep. When he sleeps he likes to hold stuff right by his face if he cant get a hold of his blanket he will put his hands. It is so cute. July 22, 2008

Jackson Update

Sorry about so many posts today but I am headed out of town and know I will have some to do when I get back so I figured I better get caught up on my posts.

Jackson has been growing so much I thought I would post a recent picture. We think he may be starting to get teeth becasue he drools like crazy and is always trying to naugh on his bottom gums. He has also desided it is ok to get up 3-4 times at night.

Jackson now fits good in his bouncer it no longer looks like the bouncer is eating him up. I cant believe how fast my little boy is growing he is almost five months old. He loves to blow bubbles and make nosies.

Rodeo

Jackson put his boots on for the rodeo. We went to the Lehi rodeo. Matt had to work so it was me, Jackson, Scotty, & Brooke. We had lots of fun. Rodeo season is my favorite time of year and I can never get enough of them. Jackson was so good we enjoyed watching then he slept through the second half and woke up after the second bull rider. He was hungry so we decided it was time to get home. I am so impressed how long he lasted.

Parade

June 28, 2008 Lehi Roundup Parade. First we started off the day by having a pancake breakfast in the park. Then we walked down to our parade seats (which we had marked out our spot before we headed to breakfast). My dad brought a diamond fly and set it up for us to sit under so the little kids would not get sunburn. We ended up with lots of candy. I even caught a little kid tooth brush for Jackson it will be a little while before he can use it. Roundup week is one of my favorite things.

Famous Dude in Burbank Airport

We ran into Erik Estrada in the Burbank Airport he was really nice and friendly. He was in the show Chips. When we first saw Erik in the Airport Matt was like oh there is Erik Estrada we need to go get a picture. I had no clue who he was.

Grandma Traynor's Birthday Party

June 19-22, 2008 We spent some time in California. We went down for a surprise 60th Birthday Party for Matt's Mom. We had lots of fun and the weather was warm well pretty hot actually it was in the high 90 low 100. This was Jacksons first trip and his first time to Grandpa & Grandma Traynor's house. Thanks for letting us stay we had a great time.
