Swimming

Today we took Jackson swimming for the first time. Jackson is 11 weeks old. The water was a little cold but he did great. He liked to play and kick in the water. He lasted about 15 min that was about 14 minutes longer than Matt thought he would last. He likes baths so we figured he would like to swim but we were worried about the cold temperature. But he sure looked cute in his swimming suit. It was still a little big but stayed on along with the oversized swim diaper.

Elk Banquet

Last night we took Jackson to his first RMEF Banquet. The Banquet was in Cedar City. Dinner consisted of Green Salad, Baked Potato, Prime Rib, and Cheesecake. Sorry the only pictures I had was of him laying on my lap while we were waiting for the banquet to start. At the banquet was Scott, Cindy, Timmy, Charlie, & Alex Robinson (my parents and brothers) and then Matt, Me and Jackson. We had lots of fun.

Zion's National Park

We had the opportunity to go to Cedar City this weekend with my parents and little brothers, thank you so much for the invite and trip.

Our trip was short but lots of fun. On Saturday we took the little guy to Zion's. His first trip to a natural park. We started off the day by watching a movie in the big screen theater it was about the ancient people that used to live in Zions. The weather was great it was in the 90s. Jackson did great and enjoyed his first ride in Grandpa's new truck. He even got to have his window down for part of the trip.

Jackson & Lidia

So I planned on really working on my blog this weekend and getting caught up but that did not work out to well. Blogger locked me out of my blog so they could review it and make sure it was not spam. So hopefully I can find some time this week to get caught up-to-date.
Well this week so far has been great my mother is babysitting my 17 month old niece who is a very active little girl but lots of fun. Jackson and I were over visiting on Saturday and my niece Lidia had a little paper cup because she had just had a drink of water, well she decided Jackson needed a drink and was trying to give him a drink with her cup (there was no more water in the cup she had drank it all) it was so cute and funny. So yesterday we were over and she had just finished dinner and was holder her little plastic spoon so she thought maybe Jackson wants to eat and tried to put the spoon up to his mouth. She is such a helpful little girl. Every time Jackson would cry she would say baby. It has been nice that my mother was watching her we were able to go over and play all the time.
